What is the FreeBSD/PowerPC project?

FreeBSD/PowerPC is a port of the FreeBSD operating system to computers with the PowerPC processor, most notably recent Macintosh computers.

What hardware are you targetting?

At the moment "New World" (i.e. colourful case) Apple Macintoshes. Other platforms, such as older PowerMacs and non-Apple computers using Open Firmware, are expected to be targetted later on.
